Jordan Blumetti is a writer and editor from Florida. His reporting, features, and photographs have appeared in numerous publications, and his essays have been anthologized by The Bitter Southerner and Longreads. He has edited several national bestselling and award-winning books. Previously, he worked on the English news desk for Haaretz in Tel Aviv, Israel, served as features editor for Ink Global travel media, and director of literary acquisitions for a film and television production company. His latest feature story, "The Machine in the Garden," appeared in the Spring  2025 issue of Oxford American and was awarded a grant from the journalism non-profit the Economic Hardship Reporting Project.
